Journey to Bethlehem 2017-11-20T20:33:40+00:00

Second’s Journey to Bethlehem is one of the area’s largest celebrations of faith. Join us as we present a live walk-through drama of the first Christmas. Journey will take place on Friday, December 1, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, December 2, from 5-7 p.m.

What happens on the Journey?
Guests will enter through the north parking lot. Groups of approximately 20 will be guided through the various scenes depicting the Jerusalem market, Herod’s Palace, the Three Wisemen’s Tent, Bethlehem, the Shepherds on the hillside, the Inn, and finally the Stable where Jesus was born.

How long does it take?

The Journey itself takes about 45 minutes. Often it is necessary to wait before the guides can begin taking your group on the Journey. Generally the wait time is less during the early hours.

How much does it cost?
It is free, but donations to support the mission of Second Presbyterian Church are gladly accepted.

Is it handicapped accessible?
There are three places, each of which has about 3 steps. These places can be bypassed with the help of the guide. Please ask.
