Joint Worship Service

For the last few years, we have made an intentional effort to be in relationship with the historic congregations of Covenant Presbyterian Church and Linwood United Church (now going by the joint name of the “Beloved Community”). This Sunday, we will once again combine our congregations for a beautiful joint service at 10:30 a.m. at Linwood United Church (3151 Olive Street, Kansas City, MO 64109).

We will have a joint choir, made up of all three congregations, fellowship time after service, and a children’s presentation on Black History Month. This is not a service you will want to miss!

This will be the only service offered this Sunday, which means we will not be worshipping at Second Presbyterian. Parking is limited at Linwood, so please coordinate to carpool with a friend. Linwood does have a back lot for parking. There is also street parking and a shopping center on the Linwood side with parking available. Folks are still encouraged to carpool, but do not let parking deter you!
