Recommended Summer Listening

This week, we have three terrific anti-racism recommendations from Deb Meinke to jump start your summer listening.

Do you love food? I sure do, and so I am recommending the recently released show “High on the Hog: How African-American Cuisine Transformed America,” streaming on Netflix. What a legacy we owe to our brothers and sisters from Africa! As we resume gatherings of family and friends and head into BBQ season, these four episodes are guaranteed to bring your smiles, tears, and a mouth-watering appetite. Dig in!
