Updated “Dividing Lines” Tour

This week’s recommendation is shared by Josephine Njoroge and Bill Tammeus.

Nathaniel Bozarth, who produced the “Dividing Lines” tour many of us have driven, has produced a new version with added material that you can watch on a mobile device or a desktop computer. This new version of Dividing Lines uses immersive 360 video so that people can experience the tour from anywhere in the country without having to hop in a car. It now includes content around the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, MLK Boulevard in Kansas City, and the loaded meaning of “good schools,” as well as loads of archival imagery and historical documents giving evidence and further context to the story told.
