Sarah’s deep belief in the transformative power of the church and her passion for fostering community align perfectly with our congregation's values. Her impressive track record in growing participation and initiating innovative worship services speak volumes of her leadership and ability to foster vibrant faith communities. Her academic background, love for teaching, creative contributions to liturgy, and heartfelt dedication to pastoral care ensure that she will be a compassionate and inspiring Senior Pastor. We're excited to embark on this new chapter with Sarah!

For months I have prayed for you. I have watched your worship services. I have marveled at your creativity. I thanked God for your compassion and carried your dreams for the future in my heart. I cannot wait to join you all in this next season of ministry as we explore together what God has in store for Second Presbyterian Church. Serving as your pastor will be the honor of a lifetime. 

I know that this is not an easy time to be the church in the world. However, I am deeply hopeful for what God has in store for us. Like a pillar of cloud, guiding the Israelites through the wilderness, I am confident that God will continue to guide us in the coming season and I look forward to seeing where that path leads.
