"To the saints at Second Presbyterian Church- thank you."

For months I have prayed for you. I have watched your worship services. I have marveled at your creativity. I thanked God for your compassion and carried your dreams for the future in my heart. I cannot wait to join you all in this next season of ministry as we explore together what God has in store for Second Presbyterian Church. Serving as your pastor will be the honor of a lifetime. 

I know that this is not an easy time to be the church in the world. However, I am deeply hopeful for what God has in store for us. Like a pillar of cloud, guiding the Israelites through the wilderness, I am confident that God will continue to guide us in the coming season and I look forward to seeing where that path leads. 

Thank you to the PNC. Thank you to Rev. Jared, who has served you all faithfully these last two years! Thank you to each of you. I am counting down the days until August 25th!
