Let's Talk: A Sex Education Series for Children, Youth, & Parents
Talking about bodies and sex can be difficult for children, youth, and parents alike. What our faith teaches us, though, is that our bodies and sexuality are gifts from God. Join us for this four-week series designed for pre-teens (4th-7th grade) and teens (8th-12th grade) and led by Quinn Eggesiecker-Mack, LPC, with support from Patrick Landau, and Sam Murphy.
The Bible and the Newspaper: Sunday School with Pastor Sarah
Pastor Sarah will be teaching a three week Sunday school series on what the bible says about current social issues.
Youth Group Winter Kick-Off
We’ll talk about the winter, spring, and summer programming for youth. This will include discussion of youth group and Sunday school programming as well as our high school Montreat trip and our middle school summer retreat.
Epiphany & Star Word Service
Join us for our Epiphany service, celebrating the revelation of God’s light through the Magi. As part of the tradition, we will pass out Star Words—small, star-shaped cards with words to reflect on throughout the year.
Parents Book Study
All parents are invited to participate in our study of Meredith Miller's book, "Woven: Nurturing a Faith Your Kid Doesn't Have to Heal From” on Sundays at 9 a.m. in the gallery starting on January 4.

The 6 p.m. service is a traditional Christmas Eve service with the choir, a homily, and candle lighting.
Christmas Eve Worship
The 4:30 p.m. service is a family service designed with children in mind. There is no sermon at this service, as we work to share the good news of this evening with the youngest among us. We will sing, tell stories and embrace wiggles!
Christmas Music Sunday
Christmas Music Sunday features special performances by the Second Motet Choir and a 21-piece orchestra. The program will include seasonal music, enhanced by the talents of Second members and members of the Kansas City Symphony.
Longest Night Worship
The Christmas season is often one marked with joy and celebration. However, for many, grief, loss, and tragedy stand in stark contrast to the festive joy of advent. The Longest Night service is designed to carve out space for quiet reflection as we go to God in prayer, song and contemplation.

Sanctuary Concert
Join us for a free concert in the sanctuary performed by UMKC students.
They will be playing Suite for Violin and Piano by P. Scharwenka, Beethoven Sonata No. 8 for Violin and Piano, and Ysaye Sonata No. 4 for Solo Violin.
