Join members of the Faith Formation Committee on Sunday, May 3, for our last Solidarity & Social Change of the year! We will hear from guest speaker, Linda Hughes, from Lead to Read KC. All are welcome!  

Lead to Read KC recruits volunteers to solve the literacy crisis in Kansas City by connecting students with reading mentors. Through meaningful weekly or bimonthly reading sessions volunteers help students become stronger readers.

Prior to becoming the community outreach program manager at Lead to Read KC. Linda was assistant principal and instructional coach at Visitation School and adjunct professor at Rockhurst University.
