All Saints Sunday
We will celebrate All Saints’ Sunday by remembering and giving thanks for the lives of our siblings in Christ who have died over the past year by reading their names aloud in the service.

Second Act - Season Social
Second Act is having its next season social! This group is made up of folks who are anticipating empty nests and/or those who have recently retired. We navigate together as we move through life’s transitions, find ways to contribute to church and society and create fellowship with one another.
Pre-Teen Hang Out
Our Pre-Teen Hang Outs are all about building community for our 3rd through 5th graders. We will do a mix of social and service-oriented activities on the second Sunday of each month - all are welcome! Meet Sam on the stage in Westminster after worship.
20s & 30s All-Sides Friendsgiving
The tradition continues! All young adults are invited to gather at the church for an all-sides Friendsgiving. Bring your favorite holiday side dish, grab a friend, and join us for this festive meal!
November Parents' Night Out
Parents' Night Out events are a gift to parents and kids alike. We know that families need more community support than ever and we love creating space twice each semester for kids to build up their church friendships and parents to catch their breath.
Children's Christmas Pageant Rehearsal
All children 4 years old through 5th grade are invited to participate in our annual Children's Christmas Pageant!
20s & 30s Christmas Party
The young adult group is headed off-site for some Christmas fun! Save the date, grab your favorite Christmas sweater and wrap a $15 white elephant gift for our Christmas gift exchange! Location is forthcoming, but we’d love to include you in the fun!

Addison and Ellen Clayton are hosting a fall dinner at their house in Waldo! Come join us in their backyard for fellowship and good food. Chili and drinks will be provided. Bring your own side, dessert or chili topping to share (think cornbread, cheese, sour cream, cookies, etc). Kids are welcome!

Solidarity & Social Change Class
Come listen to a presentation on Guns to Gardens, a safe gun disposal initiative that provides community members with an opportunity to responsibly surrender unwanted or unusable firearms. The firearms are permanently transformed into beautiful works of art, creating symbols of hope, healing, and community connection while helping reduce the risk of gun violence.

Get ready to cheer on the home team after worship! Wear your Kansas City colors to church and bring a side dish, drink, or dessert to share. Fried chicken will be catered and provided!

Covenant Class: Pet Ministry Discussion
All are invited to hear from Linda Haney, Pet Ministry leader at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood. Linda will be speaking on how the Resurrection Pet Ministry at COR began in 2016, what they do and how they have changed and grown, the partnerships and outreach they do, therapy dogs through Canine for Christ, and grief and loss support.
20s & 30s Apple Picking
The young adults are headed to the apple orchard! Meet Pastor Sarah at the church at 2:30 p.m. to caravan to Cider Hill Family Orchard, or meet us directly at the orchard around 3:20/3:30. Together, we will taste test some cider, pick apples, and enjoy being out in nature together. Kids are invited!
