All-Church Retreat FAQs
-
The All-Church Retreat is being held at Heartland Camp. Participants who stay overnight have the opportunity to lodge in one of the following housing options:
Family: Trask Lodge - This option offers bunk beds and dorm-style bathrooms and secures the whole room for families with children. Three available rooms with four to six beds in each room.
Adult: Oak Place - This option is for adults not bringing children who are willing to share a room with another adult. These rooms have bunk beds and dorm-style bathrooms. Folks who sign up for these rooms will be placed in rooms with those of the same gender, and in similar age ranges.
Family: Pete's Cabin - These rooms are reserved for families and have a combination of single and bunk beds and attached bathrooms. Six available rooms with five beds in each room.
Adult: Nunemaker- Hotel style rooms with private bathrooms. Ten available rooms, each with three single beds.

Yes! While we would love for you to join us for the entire weekend, if you cannot make it on Saturday, we’d love to see you Sunday morning for breakfast at 9 and at 10:15 for worship!
-
Yes! Registration includes your food for the weekend.
-
Great question! A packing list will be available in August. However, think casual, comfy summer clothes as well as a bathing suit for the pool!
-
The cost depends on who you’re registering and where you’re staying. However, rates range from $15 for a child’s Saturday day pass to $150 for a family staying overnight.
-
We will have nursery care provided in blocks throughout the weekend. Our hope is to provide parents with opportunities to both connect with their kid(s) and with other adults.
-
Thank you for asking! We are thinking about accessibility in the planning of this weekend to ensure the comfortable participation of as many people as possible. Most of our activities will take place in buildings and spaces that are accessible and mobility friendly. We are planning to incorporate AC access and indoor free time activities for those sensitive to the heat. The one area of camp that is the greatest mobility challenge is the bonfire. With that said, we plan to provide car shuttles as close as we can to the fire, and will provide an alternate fire pit location nearby for those who want it.

Take a look at Heartland’s map to see the layout of the retreat including where you can park.
If you’re planning to attend for Sunday worship (in the Conference Center), we suggest parking in the rectangular parking spot at the top of the map.
Check out the retreat schedule for details on where we’ll be for each activity.
